Austin-area home sales up, median price down in July - Bizjournals.com
At the same time, the median price for a single-family home in Austin fell to $196,750, an 11 percent drop from July 2010. Those homes stayed on the market around 5 percent longer, according to the Austin Board of Realtors. The median price for condos and townhouses rose 3 percent to $164,250.
