Families get relief checks from realtors association

On Wednesday, they handed out checks to four families hit by the April tornadoes. Realtors They received grants from the National and Alabama Associations of Realtors through a disaster fund set up by realtors. Each family received checks of different amounts based off of the damage to their homes. The families were also given a bin full of supplies they may need during their recovery. The realtor associations decided to present the funds in another area affected by the tornados: Pleasant Grove. The families who received the grants today they say they are so thankful for the funds as they start the process of rebuilding. They also have storage space for people who need it as they rebuild. Proof of damage will be required for the assistance.
