Great Falls Association of Realtors Holds Public Education Session on Safety

He explains Wooten "teaches classes around the country and is a safety specialist. Realtors He's here to teach us how to keep ourselves out of trouble". His message had extra impact since a realtor was attacked right here in Great Falls while showing a house. Dea says, "we're asking our Realtors to rethink the way we do our business. Most of us have been through these safety courses before, but we fall into our old routine and we forget about it. Unfortunately, one of our members had to be harmed to remind us of this, but we're hoping some good can come out of that terrible situation and realtors can be reminded of how to keep themselves out of harm's way". Annette Dea is here to help her kids learn more about safety. She explains safety instruction is important because you just never know what can happen and when, but most people assume it happens elsewhere and to others, but that's not the case. Dea says bringing her children gives her piece of mind hoping they can take away a tool to be safer in the future. They can happen at any time, anywhere, and to anyone. Wooten advises being more aware and listening to your intuition. Dea says, "unfortunately the world isn't as safe of a place as it used to be and attacks on realtors and other professionals are perhaps more common than you would like to believe".
