Benton Realtor named ARELLO president elect - First Arkansas News

Crowson will be named president pending the approval of ARELLO members at their annual conference this fall in Baltimore. Crowson said the group emphasizes consumer protection and members of the group are in a unique position to deal with those issues internationally – officials in the United States might pick up some ideas from people with similar positions in, say, Australia and vice versa. She has been a Real Estate commissioner and is a past president of the Arkansas Realtors Association (ARA). That being the case, Crowson said she has been involved with public protection issues as both a Realtor and a regulator and brings, perhaps, a unique perspective to the table. Because those groups share a similar goal, it makes it that much easier for them to work together. That plan, she said, involves communicating well with ARELLO members and helping make the group stronger by encouraging other real estate regulatory and licensing agencies to join.
