Realtors to raise money for disabled veterans
The Realtors Got Talent Variety Show raised more than $13,000 last year for the cause and sold more than 400 tickets. Realtors The Taunton-based nonprofit, Homes for Our Troops, raises donations of money, building materials and labor to construction adaptable homes for servicemen and women who have returned with serious disabilities from fighting in wars since Sept. The aim is to help them live as independently as possible, and the projects impose no cost on the veterans. The show, modeled after the TV program America's Got Talent, welcomes singers, dance troupes, musical performances, comedy acts and dramatic acts. There is no cost to perform in the show, to be held at the Oak Point Grand Ballroom in Middleboro. For more information, contact the Realtors association at 781-826-5139 or info@passrealtors. We will review the report and take appropriate action.
