This class addresses current Real Estate trends, market statistics, buying/investing in foreclosures, short sales from a owner/bank, mortgage rate trends, reducing insurance rates, and a field trip to the court house for a foreclosure sale. Realtors Guest speakers include a real estate attorney, mortgage banker and insurance agent. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the start of class. The Performance Management Network is a next-generation Realtor designation designed from the ground up to deliver the real-world skills, know-how and tools to keep an agent's business out front and on top of an evolving real estate market. Each year, the Convention & Trade Expo brings Realtors from around the state to discuss and vote on key issues that shape their profession and state association. Members also attend education seminars on topics such as short sales, social media trends, personal branding and home pricing strategies. More than 54 educational sessions were available for participates this year. The 2012 Leadership Academy class is comprised of Realtors from 11 states, and the first international participant from Southern Brazil. The participants will gain and expand upon existing leadership skills and abilities while learning more about NAR. Academy participants had to undergo an application and interview process conducted by the Academy Advisory Board and then will undergo a series of team-building exercises and workshops scheduled over six months.
